  • The exclusive songwriter agreement is the agreement between a songwriter and whichever party contracts the songwriter to write songs exclusively for it. Most times the other party is a publisher, but it can be a record label under the 360 deal. Songwriter is prohibited from writing songs for anyone other than the publisher during the term of this agreement.
